What began as a project building their family home has become a new way of life for handy couple, Russ and Tania Haigh.
While building their Cromwell home in November 2008, the couple had “so much fun” that they wanted to keep going.
“That was when I worked out Tanz had quite a talent, she designed the whole house, the layout and everything. I thought, ‘Christ, she really knows what she’s doing’.”
So when Tania fell in love with a dilapidated Cromwell property a year later, they purchased it as an investment doer-upper.
